Kavalan Solist Amontillado Cask Single Malt Whisky

Kavalan Distillery has been pioneering the art of single malt whisky in Yilan County, Taiwan since 2005. Kavalan sources the mineral-rich waters that flow from the nearby Snow Mountain, this pure water combined with the intense heat & maturation process produces some sensational "new world" Single Malt whisky. This release in the Solist range was matured in casks that previously held Amontillado Sherry. Amontillado is a dry sherry that is darker than Fino, but lighter than Oloroso. As with all releases in the series; Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry was bottled at the distillery at cask strength, without any added colouring or chill-filtration.
