<strong>Darkness Macallan 26 Year Old Moscatel Cask Finish</strong> Darkness have placed a delicious Macallan single malt in 50 litre Moscatel casks. The greater surface area to volume ratio of these casks allowed greater interaction between liquid, wood and air, and produced a whisky with more concentrated and richer fruit notes and Moscatel influences this lovely 26 year old liquid. Independently bottled 26 year old Macallan single malt, finished in a specially coopered sherry casks which previously held Moscatel sherry! Macallan's whiskies are well-known for their intensely sherried expressions, and this bottling certainly fits that theme. A small release of just 94 bottles.
